It's New to Me No. 3

Welcome to the third addition of It's New to Me.  Each week, we will post an online outfit that we were inspired by.  Then we'll show you the outfit we thrifted.  Sometimes it will be an exact copy of the outfit and other times it will be a similar outfit.  We'll give you the rundown of the online or store pricing and then show you what we paid for our outfit.  Our goal is to show tweens and teens that you don't have to spend a lot of money to look great. We hope to encourage you to "shop green" and thrift whenever possible.

This week, our inspiration comes from this outfit at J. Crew.

We're Baaaack!

Wow, two weeks since the last post.  That's not good!  We've just not been together during the day (when photos are good) in two whole weeks.  School's out today so we're going to just do a massive photo shoot so that we'll have enough material for several posts.

Today, I wanted to share with you, what we found at Good Will yesterday.  We scored these four, gently used, Aeropostale bags for a total of $4!

 Nice, huh?

Come back tomorrow for another "It's New to Me" post that will knock your socks off.  The target...  J Crew.

What $10 Will Get You at Goodwill

As I mentioned earlier this week, our Goodwill has a Color of the Week sale.  This means that any clothing items with a color of the week tag cost $1.  This week, the color is orange.

This is what we were able to get for under $10.

 Old Navy denim jacket - orange tag - $1

 Old Navy denim skirt - orange tag - $1

 Aeropostale cargo pants - not orange tag - $4.25

Old Navy jeans - orange tag - $1

Old Navy jeans - orange tag - $1

Total = $8.25

Not too shabby!
